Interoception: understanding your body’s internal language
Watch the recording for our 2.5hour webinar to understand the body’s 8th sense.
This is for you if:
you identify as Neurodivergent or think you might be and you want to understand yourself better.
*neurodivergent includes ALL people with brain-based differences e.g. autism, ADHD, ABI, schizophrenia, PTSD, etc.
you’re a carer, parent or health professional supporting neurodivergent people & want to understand how to support them better.
you are a psychologist needing to meet the new standards of practice (Competency 7).
you want to or the people you work with want support to manage and regulate emotions.
you or those you support, want to prevent how often meltdowns or burnout occurs.
you’ve tried strategies before but they don’t work, or fall apart quickly, despite your best intentions - (curse those side quests)- the missing key may be Interoception .
your nervous system is unique to you, our strategies need to work for you.
This is NOT for you if:
you don’t need to understand more about your body signals and how they affect your wellbeing.
you don’t need help with self care or emotional regulation.
you aren’t interested in being neuro-affirming.
*This is a safe space and for Neurodivergent folk and their Ally’s.
you aren’t ready to embrace listening to your body signals and step into your natural way of regulating.
you don’t need to build advocacy skills, for yourself or those you support.
